Myself: Nothing happened to me. I’m fine but my little brother has been sick for the last two days.

Doctor: Tell me your younger brother’s name and age.

Myself: My younger brother’s name is Raju and he is 10 years old.

Doctor: What’s wrong with your younger brother?

Myself: My younger brother has a fever, headache, body pain, and a cough?

Doctor: Doctor: I need to measure your brother’s body temperature. And if his chest is clean, it should be checked with a stethoscope. So tell your brother to lie down on this bed.

Myself: My brother is in bed. You can check now.

Doctor: The fever is not too high at 100 degrees. There is a little sound in the chest but nothing to worry about.

Myself: Would you take a malaria test for fever?

Doctor: Yes, I will give malaria test for fever. Show me the test tomorrow.

Myself: What medicine for fever and cough?

Doctor: I am prescribing some medicine for fever and cough which your brother must take.

Myself: What about body aches and headaches?

Doctor: Body aches and headaches are mainly due to fever and cough. However, I have prescribed paracetamol which will work as a medicine for headache and body aches. Does your brother like to take tablets or syrups?

Myself: I prefer to eat syrup.

Doctor: I have prescribed some medicine for your brother which he will have to take for the next three days. And I have written down when to take any medicine.

Myself: Can you tell me what my brother can eat and what he can’t eat?

Doctor: You can eat everything but you will eat more vitamin C foods i.e. fruits.

Myself: Can we go now?

Doctor: Yes, you can go now, but the malaria test report will show me tomorrow.

Myself: Thanks Doctor.

ক) প্রতিবেদনের বিষয়ের আলােকে ভূমিকা লিখতে হবে

মুক্তিযুদ্ধ বাঙালি জাতির সবচেয়ে গৌরবময় ঘটনা। এই যুদ্ধের মধ্য দিয়েই আমরা লাভ করেছি স্বাধীন দেশ, নিজস্ব পতাকা। ১৯৭১ সালের ২৬ শে মার্চ বাংলার ছাত্র-যুবক, কৃষক-শ্রমিকসহ সর্বস্তরের জনগণ বর্বর হানাদার পাকবাহিনীর বিরুদ্ধে সশস্ত্র যুদ্ধে অবতীর্ণ হয়। তারই পরিণতিতে ১৯৭১ সালের ১৬ই ডিসেম্বর অর্জিত হয় চূড়ান্ত বিজয়। বিশ্বের মানচিত্রে খোদিত হয় একটা নাম- ‘স্বাধীন সার্বভৌম বাংলাদেশ’।

খ) বাঙালির মুক্তিযুদ্ধে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ার কারণ বর্ণনা করতে হবে,

১। দেশকে শোষকের হাত থেকে রক্ষা করা।

২। দেশকে পরাধীনতার গস্নানি থেকে মুক্ত করা।

৩। হানাদার বাহিনীর অন্যায় ও অত্যাচার থেকে দেশ ও দেশের মানুষকে রক্ষা করা।

৪। শাসক ও শোষকদের অন্যায় অবিচার থেকে বাংলার মানুষকে মুক্ত করা।

৫। দেশকে স্বাধীন ও শোষণমুক্ত করা।

পাকিস্তান সরকার এ দেশের মানুষের ওপর সামাজিক, অর্থনৈতিক ও রাজনৈতিকভাবে নিপীড়ন চালিয়েছিল বলেই বাঙালিরা মুক্তিযুদ্ধ করেছিল।

১৯৪৭ সালে পাকিস্তান রাষ্ট্র সৃষ্টির পর থেকেই পাকিস্তানি শাসকরা এ দেশের মানুষের ওপর বৈষম্যমূলক আচরণ শুরু করে। বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের নেতৃত্বে বাঙালিরা তখন প্রতিবাদী হয়ে ওঠে। এতে পাকিস্তানি শাসকরা বাঙালিদের দমাতে চেষ্টা করে। তারই জবাবে ১৯৭১ সালে বাঙালিরা মুক্তিযুদ্ধ শুরু করে।

গ) প্রতিরােধ আন্দোলনের উপায় বর্ণনা করতে হবে,

 স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামকে বেগবান করার জন্য মুক্তিযুদ্ধের প্রধান সেনাপতি জেনারেল আতাউল গণি ওসমানীর নেতৃত্বে বাংলাদেশকে ১১টি সেক্টরে ভাগ করা হয়। এ দেশের অগণিত ছাত্র-জনতা, পুলিশ, ইপিআর, আনসার ও সামরিক-বেসামরিক লোকদের সমন্বয়ে মুক্তিবাহিনী গঠন করা হয়। পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনীর কবল থেকে দেশকে মুক্তি করার লক্ষ্যে তারা যুদ্ধ কৌশল, অস্ত্রচালনা ও বিস্ফোরক ব্যবহার সম্পর্কে প্রশিক্ষণ নিয়ে মুক্তিযুদ্ধে অংশ নেয়। যতই দিন যেতে থাকে ততই সুসংগঠিত হয় মুক্তিবাহিনী। মুক্তিবাহিনী গেরিলা যুদ্ধে রীতি অবলম্বন করে শত্রুদের বিপর্যস্ত করে। বিশাল শত্রুবাহিনী আধুনিক অস্ত্রশস্ত্র ও প্রশিক্ষণ নিয়েও মুক্তিবাহিনীর মোকাবিলায় সক্ষম হচ্ছিল না। 

একজন গেরিলা হলেন একজন অর্ধসামরিক বা বেসামরিক ব্যক্তি যে একটি ছোট দলের অংশ হিসেবে একটি বড়ো সরকারী সেনাবাহিনীকে আক্রমণ করে।

গেরিলা যুদ্ধ এমন এক ধরণের যুদ্ধ পদ্ধতি যেখানে ভূমি এবং ভৌগোলিক সুবিধা ব্যবহার করে প্রতিপক্ষের ওপরে প্রাধান্য বিস্তার করা হয়। গেরিলাযুদ্ধ অনেক সময়েই দুর্গম বন-জঙ্গল এলাকায় হয়ে থাকে। গেরিলারা যুদ্ধে জয় করার জন্য এবং সামরিক বাহিনীকে মোকাবিলা করার জন্য অনেক রকম সামরিক কৌশল ব্যবহার করে, যেমন অতর্কিত আক্রমণ , অন্তর্ঘাত, হানা, ক্ষুদ্র যুদ্ধ, হিট এবং রান কৌশল, ইত্যাদি।

বাংলাদেশের মুক্তিযুদ্ধে বা স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে গেরিলারাই মুখ্য ভূমিকা পালন করে৷ স্বাধীনতার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়ে যুদ্ধে যারা অংশ নিয়েছিল তারা বেশিরভাগ ই ছিলেন, এদেশের নিম্ন পেশাজীবী ও সাধারণ জনতা। যুদ্ধের রণ কৌশল সম্বন্ধে তারা পুরোপুরি অজ্ঞ ছিলেন। স্বেচ্ছায় এগিয়ে আসা সাধারণ কিছু মানুষদের ভারতের দুমকিতে স্বল্প ট্রেনিং এর ব্যাবস্থা করা হয়। স্কুল, কলেজ, স্থাপনা, রাস্তা ঘাট ছিল পাকিস্থানিদের দখলে। ফলে বাঙালি মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা ব্যাবহার করে দুর্গম এলাকা। বনে জঙ্গলে বসে যুদ্ধের ছোট ছোট প্লান করেন। স্বল্প সদস্য নিয়ে শত্রু ঘাটিতে আক্রমণ করেন । যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা নষ্ট করে দেন। ছোট ছোট অস্ত্র নিয়ে মুখোমুখি হয়ে যান, পাকিস্তানি দের বড় বড় অস্ত্রের সামনে। প্রবল ইচ্ছা শক্তি ও গেরিলা কৌশলের দরুণ, ভারী অস্ত্রের মুখেও পরাস্ত্র করে ফেলেন পাকিস্থানি সৈন্য বাহিনীকে। বাংলাদেশের পক্ষে যে সব যোদ্ধারা অংশ নিয়েছেন তাদের মধ্যে খুব কম সংখ্যক সদস্যই ছিলেন সামরিক সদস্য। পুরোপুরি অদক্ষ কিন্তু ইচ্ছাশক্তি প্রবণ বাঙালী রক্তের কাছে পরাজিত হতে বাধ্য হয়েছিল পাকিস্তান। মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের একমাত্র লক্ষ্য হয়ে উঠে শত্রু ঘায়েল করা। তা সে যেকোন মূল্যেই হোক।

যেহেতু সাধারণ মুক্তিবাহিনীর তুলনায় প্রশিক্ষিত সামরিক বাহিনীর সদস্য সংখ্যা মুক্তিযুদ্ধে অংশ নেওয়ার সুযোগ কম ছিল বা কম নিয়েছিল, তাই বলা যায় গেরিলা যোদ্ধাদের কারণেই মূলত যুদ্ধের ফলাফল নির্ধারিত হয়। শত্রুশিবির ধংসের মধ্যে দিয়ে ৭১ এর মার্চ থেকে যে স্বাধীনতার চেতনা বাঙালি হৃদয়ে জেগেছিল তা ই পরবর্তী ৯ মাস শক্তি যুগিয়েছিল বাংলাকে স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশে রুপান্তরের
