GSA lottery results for admission in government secondary schools across the country have been released on the afternoon of January 11 (Monday). The inauguration of the digital lottery for admission was announced at 4:30 pm at the International Mother Tongue Institute in the capital. Dipu Moni. Later, a sixth class student of Azimpur Girls School started the lottery by pressing the button and announced the results.
The schools are admitting students through lottery from 1st class to 9th class through lottery. The digital lottery was held against 6,140 vacant seats.

Students of various talents will get admission in the school through lottery. Which will help increase the quality of education. This will improve the quality of schools. The education minister urged everyone to abide by the health rules.

Secretary Mohammad Mahbub Hossain said, "There is no opportunity for admission of students through digital lottery." He congratulated the selected students.
After the end of the lottery, the head of the organization, parents can download the results from the website of Teletalk (https://gsa.teletalk.com.bd/) with the assigned ID and password. The heads of the institutions will download the results and email them to the president of the district and upazila admission committee. At the same time the Department of Secondary and Higher Education should be informed. In case of admission of selected students, a meeting of the admission committee has to be called. And student admission has to be arranged in accordance with proper hygiene rules. The Department of Education has sent letters to field level officials, local administrations, and educational institutions informing them of the details of the admission lottery process.
More than 5 lakh 63 thousand students applied for admission in government schools across the country. As such, more than seven applications have been submitted for each seat. The lottery was supposed to be held on December 30, but the application period was extended by seven days as per the court order. The results of the lottery were announced this afternoon.
