Earlier, Mahbub Hossain, secretary of the secondary and higher education department of the education ministry, said an ordinance had to be issued to publish results in special circumstances. The ordinance could not be issued as there was no cabinet meeting this week. If the ordinance is issued, the results will be released by mid-January.
