Due to the coronavirus, students will be admitted through a lottery in all classes of public and private schools in the coming academic year. The lottery will be conducted online using the software. Meanwhile, considering the economic condition of the common people in the epidemic situation, the admission application fee has been reduced to Tk 110.

Students can pay the application fee by sending an SMS from Teletalk.

Students can select 5 schools at the time of application. In this case, students have to pay 110 BDT application fee. Fees have to be submitted by SMS through Teletalk.

It is learned that through Teletalk's website (https://gsa.teletalk.com.bd/) all government schools in the country including Dhaka metropolis have to apply for admission online. The lottery will work online using the software, it will take less time. The admission lottery for government schools in the capital will start on December 30. The district and upazila admission committee will decide when the lottery for district and upazila level government schools will be held.

The government has reduced the price of government school admission forms in the Corona epidemic. In government secondary schools it has been increased from Tk 180 to Tk 110 and in private schools from Tk 200 to Tk 150. Corona has had a negative impact on the income of a large number of parents. Besides, the admission test is not being taken this year. This will also reduce the cost of admission. In view of these considerations, the Ministry of Education has reduced the admission application fee.
